I moved to the lovely north Oxfordshire village of Hook Norton from London in summer 2000 and I am involved in village life. I am the secretary of the local history group, a position I have held for a number of years. In the past I was the local wildlife co-ordinator for the village newsletter but after 9 years in post I felt that it was the ideal time to step down and allow someone else to fulfil the role.

The village had a smallholding which raised traditional rare breed pigs. I was involved with that too for a number of years until the Covid-19 pandemic brought about its closure. Active involvement in village groups and activities is a good way to meet others and establish friendships.

My main interests are photography, family history and I do a bit of writing as well as can been seen from the articles on this website.
