I have had a lifelong interest in aviation and in the past was an aircraft spotter avidly visiting airfields and airports and writing down the registration numbers of the aircraft I had “spotted”. Nowadays given tighter security it is much more difficult to get up close to aircraft. So it is good to know that “flyins” are still popular and I recently visited Turweston airfield to attend an Air Britain Flyin. This gave me the opportunity to get some close up photos of many of the aircraft that are either residents or had flown in for the weekend. A selection of my photos is in the gallery below.
